That's nice, DCS, but I'd like a book I can buy with some instructions in English. Right now I'm not educated enough in Latin to figure everything out.

I don't think there is such a book.

If you click on 'Liber Usualis' you will see the chants for all of the Mass Ordinary, Propers, and Kyriale in modern notation. The Calendar should be easy enough to figure out. What English instructions do you need? I know there are some people on this forum who are familiar with the Liber and could help you.

I was just hoping for something I wouldn't have to print out. Something I could buy and have on my shelf as reference. But if it doesn't exist, it doesn't exist, I guess.

With what you've provided, it says 1927, does it still apply to the 1962 Missal?

There would be some differences to the Calendar (the FSSP has an Ordo that you can use for that), but the Propers themselves would not change. Just ignore the Calendar in the Liber and use the FSSP Ordo instead, then find the Propers in the Liber and use them. I would think the Calendrical changes would be minor. The only time you would run into real difficulty is during Holy Week, I guess.

Some YouTube videos:

Missa Cantata, Last Sunday after Pentecost - Paris, France. Good example of a Latin Mass done in a city parish. [*]

Solemn High Mass, Feast of the Sacred Heart - Flavigny, France, 1999. Seminary chapel, very meditative. [*]

Solemn High Mass - Easter Sunday narrated by Archbishop Fulton Sheen - Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Chicago, IL, 1941. Good for instructional purposes.

All Souls Requiem Mass - Part IV - St. Francis de Sales Oratory in St. Louis, MO. Not professional filming, but still beautiful.

Altar-ation - time-elapsed transformation of a typical "Novus Ordo" altar arrangement into a "Tridentine" altar arrangement.

Gregorian Chant Workshop [*] - Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4

[*] Videos with a star are from the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), included here because they are the best videos available and in the public domain. I do not endorse the Society because they are not fully reconciled with the Holy See; however, their liturgy is still beautiful and similar to what you would find in a parish of the FSSP.

Yes, at SanctaMissa.org. Here's the specific page.

Just want to note that many of the older links listed in this thread are broken.

-They have different missals you can switch to, the reduced 1955 and 1962 are the most commonly used, they even have the one from Pius V in 1570
