"Endorsed" is a very strong term. Popes have said nice things when asked to speak to groups of Charismatic people. Same way Popes have said nice things to Boy Scouts or to the World Methodist Council.

The linked film "The Apostle" is the best portrayal I have ever seen of real-life southern Pentecostalism.
