I bought myself two books for Christmas, Thomas Madden's Crusades and Rand Paul's Our Presidents and Their Prayers. Both are quite interesting although they each raise some serious concerns. I'm still struggling with Pope Francis' Encyclical...Our Common Home, and not quite finished St Thomas More's Sadness of Christ, nor FJ Sheed's Theology... Yet still I keep finding myself frequently comparing the histories of McSorley and Bokenkotter. I would welcome a thread to chat about any of them.
