The author, from what little I read, is associated with Wheaton College and the Marion E. Wade Center (which see)

VII for many years, since I collect some of those folk, but not in the last 15 years or so. It was worth reading. I don't think I'm familiar with the Hansen lectures.
I long ago gave up trying to buy everything on GKC (or anything else) that came out in print. Can't be done. Back when I started collecting, around 1964-65, and for maybe 10+ years, it was possible. And also possible to get a lot of OP stuff more contemporary with GKC, as from my main source for almost twenty years, a RC pre-Vat II book dealer, whose specialty was Chesterton. The core of the Marion E. Wade Center's GKC collection is based on that gentleman's personal collection, as of around 1973, when he sold it to Wheaton. I visited him shortly after and he told me why he sold it and showed me the sad remnants and other stuff he had replaced it with. Which was the most complete and impressive bunch of Chestertoniana I had seen. Of course, I had only been collecting myself for about 8 years at the time, but even today, his 2nd line collection would more impressive than mine, today. As I recall it, anyway.
Point being: I'll likely get this, but if I don't, it won't be the only such I passed on.
Ah, heck. I'll give it to myself for Christmas.
