i have been watching news for years.. kind of got addicted to it, actually... sigh

I've been addicted to worse things ("un-evolved" people, for one)

But the news these days has been SOOO negative and so full of blatant corruption/hypocrisy/greed (politicians..)

that sometimes it's an easy addiction to give up

in any case, I wass told to ask a person in charge here to get into that forum section but there was no way given to do that... or I couldn't see one

You just need to ask a moderator (green name) or administrator (red name). I will take care of it.

Honestly, until you can get your peace of soul back, I'd stay out of even this politics room.
