sorry guys...i'm to the point where i have a hard enough time taking care of the college picks... we only had 4 play last year so i decided i'd let that one slide... we can still do it, though it would mean everyone missed the first game (which i would have got right btw )

and yes, peetem tells the truth ....with a 9-1 first week record (and 53 points) he stands alone as champion.... for now.... my 7-10 picks are locks and i think i'm picking either 3 or 4 dogs to complement my locks this week... should be an interesting week...are you aware texas is 7-1-1 against bama lifetime? food for thought, i'd say

Well, I picked AL to win as my 10-point pick....was sweating that one pretty hard. But as an Auburn man, wouldn't have been upset to see the upset. In fact, I was pulling for the Horns.

Weird week in football in general. Lots of upsets compared to a typical year. But that's what makes college football so darn fun.

well, it sure was an almost upset...had the ewers kid not been hurt, it sure looked like it was going to happen.... oh well, peetem holds on to first, though certainly received a comeuppance the 2nd week, registering the 2nd lowest score ... arky was our winner of week 2, solidifying his 2nd place hold... surprisingly, our rank order did not change... gonna go out on a limb again and say there are 4 locks this week
