"That" is English, derived from a German-esque ancestor.

Can someone give me the secret password for the politics room?

but what is "politics" and what is "current events" and what is just "Pub talk"?. What about politics in the religious arena, like "City Hall bans Nativity and Christmas Tree" and "Pelosi says Catholics have a conscience thing"? What about Occupy Wall Street?

in Brazil, there are bars where you see signs saying something to the effect of "No talk of Sex, Religion, Politics, or Soccer"..

There isn't any secret password. But you should have seen the notice for the Politics forum:

Anything to do with politics goes in the political forum. Banning expressions of Christianity can go in either the political forum or the Pub. Pelosi's asinine comments, which means everything she says, go in the political forum.

A topic as broad as 'Pelosi's asinine comments' really deserves its own blog....

So basically there are pubs where talking is banned entirely?

Nice weather we are having.... (I suppose that could end badly if global warming is brought up!)
