I did until I saw today's paper...Lindor is already out for the opener, and now Ramirez fouled one off his knee, and could miss some time..with their starting rotation, they'll be in most games, but the run production will be sparse until they get back to full strength...

Not this year...Opening Day has been sold out for quite a while...Jacobs Field [now Progressive Field] opened in 1994, and only seats about 35,000 fans. Back in the early 70's, I went to a few openers at the old Municipal Stadium, which held 81,000 fans...tickets were always available for walk-ups on Opening Day.

no, but so close as to be ridiculous.... 1968 all star game, astrodome.... mccovey hits a bp home run that hits my left hand....and falls two rows below me.... i was about 8 rows up just to the right field side of center field

Yes. And at one point, it would have been a baseball autographed by the late Frank Robinson.

The stapler dates from WWII. I have two.

Yes. Many things. I wear his watch, given to him after WWII, by my mother. The Book of Common Prayer I use came from his religious library. These are good things to think on.
