Wheelchair basketball news ... while the able-bodied Auburn Tigers made it to the NCAA Final Four, the wheelchair version went all the way in the NWBA Division 3, winning that division's championship on Sunday.

However it should be noted this wheelchair team is not the Auburn University program. It is a community team that plays other community teams across the country. They still use the 'War Eagle' cheer.

Wright State baseball team clinched the Horizon League regular-season title yesterday. :wootsign

The clinching win was over Oakland University by the score of ... 28-10. :shock:

No, that is not a typo. WSU had two 5-run innings, a 9-run inning, and a 4-run inning.

This wasn't even Wright State's biggest run-scoring game ever. They scored 32 in a game in 2012.

By the way, this Oakland University is in Oakland County, Michigan, just north of Detroit.

Their first Stanley Cup finals appearance since 1970. I was living inside my mommy at that point.

Those Finals were also Bruins-Blues, and the Bruins won in a 4 game sweep. Obviously St. Louis fans are hoping for a better result this time.

WVU will host an NCAA baseball regional for the second time ever, and first time since 1955. I would attend, but unfortunately I'm going to be out of town for a memorial for my Aunt Linda.

unless something happens quickly , #1 will be dethroned by #2 and the "lock" for the national championship will have to wait until next year

ucla dominated last night and are ahead 3-1 in the top of the 4th 4th (last i checked) .... the mighty soonettes will bow to the left coast mama bears unless they get busy quickly
