Who is watching this? Somehow, this season is do much better than the first one. Every episode is bigger than the previous one. In the first season, this show seemed to exist in its own little corner, but this year, it is getting more and more connected to the rest of the Star Wars universe
..where to begin?

Boba Fett!
Bo Katan!
Ashoka!

And coming up next season....Grand Admiral Thrawn!

Don't tell me! I haven't been able to watch any of the new episodes yet.

p.s. I'm joking. I'll just avoid the discussions for now.

We're really liking it. It's the first tv show I like in quite a while. And the kids can watch it. So far.

George Lucas gave us Jar-Jar. Favreau gave us Baby Yoda. Mando FTW.

I haven't seen it. And won't. No curiosity. Plus many, many higher priority shows and books.

HST, the word "Mandalorian" somehow evokes the image of Venetian gondolier floating thought the canals strumming a mandolin.

I'm a couple of episodes behind, but overall watching it and love it.

One tiny criticism (and trying to not have spoilers) - last year things seemed to be headed in a direction. This year it feels more like he's just bouncing around a little - getting into situations aren't related to the task at hand. I'm sure things are headed in a certain direction, I just wish I could tell what it was.

Star Wars is dead to me. The Last Jedi killed it. Anyway, I don't have netflix or whatever the mandalorian is on. So even if I were tempted to pretend Star Wars wasn't dead, I couldn't watch the new stuff. :D :D :D :D

This show has very little to do with the people who ruined The Last Jedi. So I disagree with gherkin :cloud9:

Might sound petty but I didn't care for him taking off his mask and looking like an accountant. I know who he is as an actor but that scene didn't do it justice.

Actually, the exact opposite is the case. The first season was a string of 'monster of the week's episodes that didn't have much to do with each other, this year. every episode flows naturally into the next. In fact. this season, episodes have repeatedly ended on a cliffhanger that you hate to wait for the next week to resolve.

They did that because they were anticipating only one season. They didn't know it would be a runaway hit. I don't think he looked like an accountant. (Mine's a woman, but still....)

Doom: I couldn't help but sneak a peek at this discussion.

The Mandalorian is in the best possible tv genre. It's a space western with star wars.

Mando is basically 'Blonde's, Clint Eastwood's character in 'The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. even down to the fact that he is called 'Mando' which isn't actually his name. anymore than 'Blondie' is the real name of 'The Man With No Name' in that movie. They've even recreated specific famous shots from that movie.

Star Trek was sold as "Wagon Train to the Stars."

Is this is so, what was Battlestar Galactica?
