I suppose if the Lord causes it, it is called bi-location?

If the person tries to do it by themselves it is very dangerous.

The Holy Monks of Mt. Athos have always strongly advised their spiritual children to not only avoid such phenomenon, but to not even desire to have such things as visions, dreams, etc. They are an opening to prelest (spiritual deception).

The advice not to desire such things is taught by Western spiritual masters (e.g., St. John of the Cross) as well.
