Hello group – I’ve lurked off and on for some time, and now have decided to get my toe in the water.

Adult convert (RCIA class of ’98), I grew up in a Christian home, in fact, I was raised on the road as my father is a full time Evangelist. Today, I volunteer as a CCD teacher and enjoy discussions on-line.

I look forward to this group (there are some familiar faces here…)

Little Rock and Hot Springs both have Katrina Refugees in convention centers and staduims - the State Park next door to my neighborhood has 125 people staying in tents who fled the storm.

My company has (had) an office in New Orleans, in Baton Rouge and in Jackson, MS.

Thank God, the weather has been cooler yesterday and today.
