Greetings!!

I missed this part when I came on. I was excited to debate and dove in.

About me -

I am a political/religous Activist and I lean left. I think there is room for me here.

I like respectful spirited debate. Lets not get personal with each other. It's hard to debate with those who agree with you...right?

I am a cradle Catholic, my son attends Catholics School.

I work F/T in the information technology field.

My wife is an attorney, but fear not! She is neither a trial attorney or does she file "junk lawsuits". ::): ::): She does contracts for a software company. Pretty harmless eh?

I hope I am welcome here. I just want to debate and learn, and hopefully there are some who will learn from me. ::):

God Bless.

So if You are Catholic Maximus that means the rest of us are Minimus... i'm dumb so i won't be debating You but i'll sure read You... i had to laugh about the 'let's not get personal' ..... my mathematical husband would jump for joy! are You Norwegian by chance? and right away i'll disagree with You... Happy Now?? from what i've read, You'll have a Great time!

Welcome, this is a good place to learn. Lots of brilliant minds here who know what they're talking about.

Hi CM and Welcome! Your avatar reminds me of the dove that didn't want to leave Pope JP II. :)

My, my, you have busy fingers! Looking forward to your posts.

God bless,
Lolly

As a newbie, I assumed you were a vet.
Welcome, and I too look forward to the discussions between the "left" and the "right", as many of the topics discussed are difficult to deal with in everyday life.
Good, honest debate is healthy, esp. when we realize we're all looking for the same answer, with the same goals, so to speak.
I believe the Apostles had great debates among themselves, because we get a few glimpses of it in Scripture.
Even after the Ascension, they had good open debates, although the people at work don't always like it when I bring up the primacy of Peter in those debates. :D
cheers and God bless.

Welcome, Catholic Maximus.

I have enjoyed your posts so far (and have agreed with about 99.999% of them.)

But I have enjoyed them not only because I agree with them, but because your positions are well-presented, well thought out, and articulate.
