How is everyone doing? I'm James! I'm a 26 year old cradle Catholic who left the Church at 18 cuz I didn't care about all that God stuff :). Now I am in love with Christ and want to learn all of His truth, no matter where it might lead me. I am struggling with some of the teachings of the Church and some of its history right now, and there is much I still have to learn. But right now I just wanted to say HI, God BLESS, and I will hopefully be back soon. Take care everyone

Hi

I moved your post to the Welcome room. 8-)

Head on over to Catholicism 101 if you have questions. :)

Hi bigcatdaddy, welcome to the board!

You give me hope for my 21 year old son who quit going to church at 18 because he "didn't believe any of that God stuff". (He only went that long because he was made to go.)

welcome to the board bcd... glad you made it... your love for the Lord will lead you into the fullness of truth that exists only in His Church... welcome home and may you resolve the problems you have here...to paraphrase ruby from cold mountain....

"here we are...come to help"

jackie...keep praying to St Monica... if she could pray her wayward son into the church, anything is possible

Welcome bigcatdaddy. I also left the church at 18 and returned 20 years later. Ask lots of questions - it's the only way to learn :D

Thanks for everyone's warm welcomes. For those who asked, and those who didn't but are curious, bigcatdaddy comes from an old favorite country song of mine called "Lil' Miss Honkey Tonk"...."I'm her big catdaddy she's ma' lil' miss honkey tonk........"..........................God Bless 8-)
