I had read he was a practicing Catholic and daily communicant.

Holy understatement, Batman! All he did was coach the only perfect record in the Super Bowl era, if not in the entire history of the National Football League. :shock:

That's fair - he's one of the greatest ever. No small achievement going undefeated for that many games. My college roommate was from Miami and always brought this up when talked pro football.

He was also known as just a good guy too; down to earth and easy to approach.
