all righty then.... must be getting serious around here for me to see a 2.79 in two separate locations... still saw a low of 2.44.... most are at 2.59 ... with different variants between 2.44 and 2.59

Have filled up with E85 at the Sheetz in Star City on my last couple of tanks. Both times paid $2.30 with my loyalty card. Regular I think was going for $2.73.

Of course you get lower mileage with E85, but in this case I think it's offset by the lower price. I got just under 12 mpg on the last tank. With regular on city driving I get 15-18 mpg.

I was originally planning to drive up to Pittsburgh this evening for a dance, which would have given me an idea on how well the E85 performs on the highway. But I wound up staying home. I have definite plans for this coming Saturday, going to Latrobe PA, so the highway test will wait until then.

heard on the news yesterday gas prices in the houston area could be dipping UNDER $2/gal by the end of the summer.... due to oil prices falling (again!) and the built up reserves the usa has .... oh well, didn't need that little royalty check at all i suppose... maybe we could still get one every other month.... if we're lucky

Saw $2.44 at several stations around here. Probably going to need to gas up tomorrow, I'm almost down to 1/4 tank.
