Did perchance he have an evil twin by the same name?

Edit: To those who may not understand my sense of humour, my evil twin question was entirely humorously meant to reflect on my own ignorance, and not intended to reflect either on the works of Servais Pinckaers nor on his family. :P

That is very reassuring. I'm sure word would have got out about it.

What kind of parents would have twins and then give both of them the same name?

Evil ones seeking to raise an evil child

Parents who do not want to give away the fact that they cannot tell their twins apart. :fyi:

 I am at a loss to see why you felt the need to post this. Did you really think I believed you were asking a serious question?

I am deeply offended by this question's poor reflection on the works of Servais Pinckaers and on his family. :verymad: :verymad: :fyi:

I suspect gherkin may be the evil twin once removed of Servais Pinckaers. That would also explain why he's so green: it's the envy.
