Downloaded the audio book last night.

First short story of the collection, set at the tower of Babel, hooked me.

I am :soap: :soap: :soap: that I do not have any earbuds in my desk drawer for listening to the next story.

On my lunch hour I read his story "The Great Silence". I cried at the end. http://supercommunity.e-flux.com/texts/ ... t-silence/

I very much enjoyed The Great Silence story, a springboard to many issues and thoughts. Thanks for your link.

I've resolved that I will not see "Arrival". The story is thought provoking. Seems they have kept a bare framework and Hollywooded it up. Sad.
