I'm looking for Latin versions of the Petitions of St. Augustine (O Lord Jesus, let me know) and the prayer that begins "Before your eyes, O Lord, we bring our sins".

Anybody know where I can find these?

They may be there, but since I don't know where to start, I don't think I'd be able to find them in a such a large collection of texts.

Confitemur in correctione quod egimus; obliviscimur post visitationem quod flevimus.

R. Perpetua defensione custodias.
V. Orate pro nobis, sancti Apostoli Dei.
R. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

ORATIO.

Praesta, quaesumus, omnipotens Deus, ut nullis nos permittas perturbationis concuti, quos in Apostolicae confessionis petra solidasti. Per Dominum. R. Amen.

Imploret, clementissime Domine, nostris opportunam necessitatibus opem devote a nobis prolata meditatio, qua sanctus olim Joannes Chrysostomus, in hac basilica conditus, te cum beatissimis Apostolis Petro et Paulo repraesentavit sic colloquentem: "Circumdate hanc novam Sion et cirumvallate eam: hoc est, custodite, munite, precibus firmante; ut quando irascor in tempore, et orbem terrae concutio, aspiciens sepulcrum vestrum numquam desiturum, et quae libenter propter me geritis stigmata, iram misericordia vincam, et ob hanc te percipiam vestram intercessionem. Etenim quando Sacerdotium et Regnum video lacryimari, statim quasi compatiens ad commiserationem flector, et illius meae vocis remniscor: 'Protegam urbem hanc propter David servum tuum et Aaron sanctum tuum.'" Domine, fiat, fiat. Amen, Amen.

Domine Iesu, noverim me, noverim te,
Nec aliquid cupiam nisi te.
Oderim me et amem te.
Omnia agam propter te.
Humilem me, exaltem te.
Nihil cogitem nisi te.
Mortificem me et vivam in te.
Quaecumque eveniant accipiam a te.
Persequar me, sequar te,
Semerque optem sequi te.
Fugiam me, confugiam ad te,
Ut merear defendi a te.
Timeam mihi, timeam te,
Et sim inter electos a te.
Diffidam mihi, fidam in te.
Obedire velim propter te.
Ad nihil afficiar nisi ad te,
Et pauper sim propter te.
Aspice me, ut diligam te.
Voca me, ut videam te,
Et in aeternum fruar te. Amen.

The first one I found by guessing that the first words were ante oculos tuos and searching for that along with the word Augustine. The second one I got by searching for Lord Jesus let me know Augustine.

Thanks, but is this your way of calling me lazy?

To be serious for a moment, I am also trying to find out whether Saint Augustine is really the author of these prayers.

Nope. Just showing off my searching prowess, I guess. Let me see if I can track down citations.

If I am translating the Latin correctly, it is apparently an open question whether or not St. Augustine did write the "ante oculos" prayer: http://books.google.com/books?id=tb9RAA ... &q&f=false

Or at least it was in the 18th century. I don't know if it's been resolved since.

I don't know how complete this site is: http://www.augustinus.it/,

but a search of it for the other prayer turns up nothing.

You can find the 'Domine Iesu' at the http://www.documentacatholicaomnia.eu site, but it is in a PDF file and not in a writing of Augustine:

http://tinyurl.com/c393phz

I also found a place that referred to the "ante oculos tuos" as from the Roman Breviary with no mention of Augustine.

It definitely was found in the Roman Breviary (I found that at Google Books too).
