Welcome to DCF! Anything to share about yourself?
Wow, you really like figs!
Well, I'm originally from the states been living in England the past 13 years with my husband. We met on the computer sbout 15 years ago, visitited each other, spent tons on phone calls till finally we decided to give it a go. When he retires we'd like to move to the US, but for now, England is home sweet home.
Was a cradle Catholic, went to Catholic school, etc. I was moved, before high school, to live with my other parent (dad) and he was anti Catholic.
After several years of not being able to practice the faith I eventually lapsed, then became embarrased and procrastinated on going to confession for many years. One day, after the Holy Spirit spoke to me through His divine bullhorn, I made an appointment to see my local priest.
I finally went to confession, back to Mass at least once a week, most times more.
I was having a discussion with the priest a little while back and it came up that I was never confirmed and I would very much like to be. So, this past year I decided to start the RCIA class (which is really cool, certainly brings back memories!) I really enjoy it and am looking forward to my confirmation this Easter!. 'Looking forward' doesn't really describe how thrilled I am and can hardly wait!
I stumbled across this forum and thought, why not join up and see what it's about and what I can learn
...and that's me, in a nutshell. ha ha!
