Its hard for me to be reverant during Mass when every song done by the 'choir' makes me feel like Im at Bob Marley or U2 concert. . .

It doesnt bring me to meditation and holiness, infact it makes me ponder on my 'weed' smokin, druken beyond reason days.

The thing is, my Pastor is a very holy man and compeletly AWESOME when it comes to teaching, defending, proclaiming, and living the faith, but for some reason he is 'progressive' (for lack of a better word) when it comes to the liturgy.

There needs to be a special word for people like this as I have encountered many of them. . . Hardcore with the doctrine of the Church but 'Soft' when comes to maintaining the Mass the way it was meant to be.

Dont get me wrong, I am huge fan of Marley's and U2's music . . . its just not what I expect or want our worship in the Mass to be.

Im even cool with Christian 'Concerts' outside of Mass. AS LONG as we are mindful that the MASS and NOT the concert is the SOURCE AND SUMMIT OF OUR FAITH!!! (which also happens to be my biggest issue with the way people practice the charismatic movement, in their 'prayer services')
