"The Catholic Church compiled the Scriptures into the Bible, but The Catholic Church and Roman Catholic Church are two different entities."

How do I answer This person on twitter? He doesn't like links because "much more is learned obviously from a whole book then from a single link" but I still use them!

You say, "What do you mean by that?"

I can't find the original post but I think he said the Roman Catholic Church fell away from the Catholic Church the true church.

I will bow out because I'm not good at answering bizarre claims.

I found his reply:

"The Roman Catholic Church & the Catholic Church are two different entities Roman Catholic Church became and is very corrupted."

"There are actually 126 different Catholic Churches that exist today worldwide."

He commented on my tweet about the Catholic Church

"If Catholics started reading & studying their Bibles, they'd leave the Catholic Church & follow Christ"

He's an ex Catholic, trying to save all Catholics. Trying to help him at least stop spreading lies. :(

Yes his very confused, I'm trying to be more charitable.

If u can say a prayer for him, I've been praying. I also have anti Catholic family.

there's the problem... it's very hard to reason with those that have a grudge against our Lord's Church ... they have to try to justify their error any way they can

Faith0312,
Have you asked him why he denies the following?

Jesus of Nazareth, God the Son, mandated for all of mankind through four promises to Peter alone:
"You are Peter and on this rock I will build My Church." (Mt 16:18)
"The gates of hell will not prevail against it."(Mt 16:18)
“I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven." ( Mt 16:19)
"Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven." (Mt 16:19) [Later to the Twelve, also].

Sole authority:
"Strengthen your brethren." (Lk 22:32)
"Feed My sheep."(Jn 21:17).

St. Ignatius of Antioch simply believed what God says: “Where Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church.” (Letter to the Smyrneans, 8,2, A.D. 107).

The evidence shows that Peter had exercised his supreme authority in the upper room before Pentecost to have Judas’ place filled. At the first Apostolic Council of Jerusalem Peter settled the heated discussion over circumcising the gentiles and "the whole assembly fell silent" (Acts 15:7-12). Paul made sure that his ministry to the gentiles was recognized by Peter (Gal 1:I8).

His Catholic Church, the only Church that Christ has authorised through His Supreme Vicar, the Pope, thus offers to all the means of salvation.

Thank You for your help!

There are several people in the discussions. I'm sticking to where we got the Bible and authority to interpret. He will try to change the subject at times. I found something on Catholic.com also.
