Tyranny by a king stands apart in facts, not in name.

I think tyrannus = tyrant? So, "A tyrant differs from a king in deeds, not in name"?

Yeah, it's suggested in the Latin discussion:

http://latindiscussion.com/forum/latin/ ... nae.16025/

A tyrant differs from a king by his actions, not by his name.

Does vincam mean I will conquer in Latin? And does victores mean winners in Latin? Thanks in advance.

Vincam does mean "I will conquer."

Victores is just plural of victor. So it's victors in English.

A winner can be used as victor. Latin Vincere is a verb that has two meanings: (1) transitive (with direct objects) - to conquer; (2) intransitive (without direct objects) - to win.
