I have a seminarian friend who's in need of some help with Latin pronunciation and is looking for audio files to download. Thoughts?

I asked the same thing. viewtopic.php?f=69&t=120620

Which pronunciation do you use? Ok, I could assume, but that never gets me far.

He's learning liturgical Latin.

Let me re-phrase. You know Latin. If you use the Liturgical pronunciation then I could post Latin prayers and videos and you could check them to see if they are correct. Then he, and I, would have some starting point to go from that could cover a good bit of pronunciation.

Oh wow. So if you have a Latin missal you can read it and learn the pronunciation? Mine is a '53 St. Joseph, I reckon that's close enough.

That should be fine. The changes between that and the '62 aren't that big. The insertion of St. Joseph into the Roman Canon is the most noticeable, I believe, and since he hasn't recorded that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Tell him to speak Italian. That way, he will be able to speak Liturgical Latin.
