Perhaps it would be a good idea to make a list of Latin resources for those who want to learn it or practice it, and divide it into different levels e.g beginner etc.

Personally I'm using the book LINGVA LATINA Pars I - FAMILIA ROMANA.

Have anyone read the Latin Astrix e.g?

Asterix in Latin?

I think you can order the book in Latin:

Asterix Legionarius

The quotes are also available on-line.

I was taught with the Oxford Latin Course, by Balme and Morwood. It's usually clear in explaining things. Horrible pictures though.

WORDS Latin-English dictionary, useful if you can't remember how to parse a word. The definitions are sometimes dodgy for uncommon words, so for more indepth coverage I use the Lewis and Short or Oxford Latin Dictionary.

How is the wheelock's latin series compared to LINGVA LATINA? Would it be a natural next step?
