3) I would like "Fr. Trendy-in-the-next-parish" to be assigned to be prison chaplain at St. Helens (where Napoleon was exiled) so that I don't have to answer questions about why I don't do this or that silly thing that he has introduced into the Mass.

Father, is it permissible to laugh out loud at this? ::):

Dani,

Yes. A very think paperback booklet with a burgundy-ish coloured cover.

Yes, I do have that! I like it.

Communion on the tongue, kneeling. At an altar railing.

Priest facing the altar and away from the people.

Churches which look like Heaven, inside and out.

No expectation that everyone will sing the Communion hymn.

More profound prayers.

More space for people to pray. (psychological space—I do not feel prepared for receiving Our Lord at the NO like I do at the TLM.)

Unity, clarity, and education from the priests.

Prayer requests requesting safety and a quick victory for our troops rather than just safety.

Prayer requests that talk about protection of babies in their mothers' wombs rather than just "life from conception to natural death."

But you know what I really want? What I want for my children. What I want is a Church which challenges us and helps us to become holy.

O God, our refuge and our strength, look down in mercy on Thy people who cry out to Thee, and through the intercession of Mary, the virgin Mother of God; Saint Joseph, her most chaste spouse; Thy holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and of all Thy Saints, hear our prayer for the conversion of sinners, and for the liberation and exaltation of our holy Mother the Church. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

I miss the bells.
