In my opinion, clothing reflects both culture and religion.

It is common for indigenous peoples to wear little clothing. I think that little clothing could mean that the person's culture is low or backward. In European high culture, it is common for the women to wear long dresses and basically cover their bodies, but not completely. If a woman wears a veil, this could be related to religion. However, long clothing isn't purely religion and could also mean culture aswell. The problem is that some women who wore long dresses would also show off their tops in Britain, and they're not forced to wear long dresses. Even if a woman shows off her body, it could mean that she purely watches popular culture in Britain.

When I say high culture, I mean the Classics like children's classics, adult's classics, also art and classical music. The Classics are not always totally modern. Some classics are hundreds of years old. It could be that a long dress isn't entirely modern, but a classical style. If you don't read the Classics, you may not always dress in this style. The reason is that it is not a totally modern style. It is about a hundred years old at least, but you can find it in many cultural products. You can't find this style in popular culture as often as it is not modernity. It is not modern, but I believe it's better. The reason why I would say it's better is complicated. I think that there are design flaws with modern dress. It is possible to flash your knickers in a knee length skirt and this is common for young children. It is taboo really. It is common for young girls to sit down incorrectly in the skirt. You might think it's normal to stare at little girls' knickers, but I don't think it is due to paedophiles and child molesters. It is far safer to wear a skirt that covers the knees.

Clothing reflects personal culture and religion. There is a problem with changing your clothing, without changing yourself. It could be that the clothing you wear currently represents you.

It is part of the religion to dress with modesty. However, if you can't dress with modesty it could depend on what you watch on television, or what books you read, what images you look at. My recommendation is to change yourself as well. I'd advise you to watch Classics like Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen, Thomas Hardy, Louisa May Alcott, the Bronte sisters, or even children's classics like The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella. Listen to classical music or look at artwork throughout history. My favourite artwork is the Impressionists and also the Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood.
