Pope Francis has declared three ways to receive a plenary indulgence during this, the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin at Fatima. http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/three-ways-to-obtain-an-indulgence-during-100th-anniversary-of-fatima

In Spain, they speak four languages: Castilian, Catalan, Galician, and Basque.

They'll need a priest to come to hear confession, a priest or an extraordinary Eucharistic minister to give Communion.

Jubilee prayers can be obtained as follows:

Visit the webpage http://www.fatima.pt

Select "EN" on top left corner to get the English version.

Select the three-line icon (just right of the search icon).

Select "centennial."

Select Jubilee Prayes.

Thanks, jack3.

But I feel it is also important for one to learn how to navigate the official website of the Shrine of Fátima in Portugal.

There is a good chance that I will be at Fátima on May 13.

It will be the first time I will see Pope Francis. I was excited to see Pope John Paul II on May 12-13, 2000 at Fátima.

150 days until May 13, 2017.

Portuguese bishops have just approved their pastoral letter on the Centennial. The letter will be published within several days.

Sorry, Obi-Wan Kenobi, this is in Portuguese - 11 pages. I don't plan to translate into English.

EWTN is celebrating the votive Mass of Our Lady of Fátima today at 8 am with encore at noon, 6:30 pm, and midnight, all in EST.

This is followed by the Rosary, luminous mysteries.

If you don't have access to EWTN, at least you can watch on http://WWW.EWTN.COM under Television.

Just in

Received news - The Sanctuary of Lourdes will join the celebration of the Jubilee Year of the Centenary of the Apparitions of Fátima

The Santuary of Lourdes is preparing a special program from May to October, a show on great Marian sanctuaries, Marian processions with images and/or statues of Our Lady of Fátima, and the presentations of the film of the Apparitions at Lourdes and at Fátima.

During the year, the following will be celebrated on days 11 of each month on Lourdes and on days 13 of each month on Fátima. In May, the celebration of the international pilgrimage will be retransmitted with Pope Francis presiding.

The magazine Ecclesia Semanario, 90 pages long, has its issue dedicated to Sister Lúcia of Jesus, in Portuguese, together with pictures and YouTube inserts:

The diocesan process will be officially closed on February 13, and the rest will be up to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints at Rome.
