I got lots of marbles.

Thought you had lost them.

No, they're still here.

Aggies and alleys? Back in the day, when playing for keepsies, it was sometimes necessary to return at least some of your opponents marbles. Cause you had all of his and the game was then over.

And there was a game involving flipping your marbles at a target -- like a line -- and the winner was he who was closest.

Anybody ever see any kids playing marbles at all nowadays?

We used the pitch to the line to determine who went first.

Mostly aggies.

We used the pitch to the line to determine who went first.

Marbles are ammo for those wrist sling shots or a kid's aquarium...

Well, you talk to yourself, so I guess it is OK.

Actually in thinking about what I miss... there's a lot that I don't miss like the toilet being outside the house. The cane. Having to try and sleep in the heat without fans or air con. Tripe for dinner once a week. Stepping in horse and doggy doo on footpaths. There's a lot to appreciate about today really.

Nah, you get used to it after a while.
