"Nerd" is a compliment, not an insult.

Since I can't do one thing at a time:
- Authenticity by Thomas Dubay
- Under the Black Flag:The Romance and Reality of Life Among the Pirates by David Cordingly

My book on pirate history is good introductory stuff and I'm enjoying it... especially with beach on the brain. Fr. Dubay's book is excellent, densely packed with truth. But for me, I have to read it slow to really appreciate the reality and full force of what he is saying.

I'm reading a Western I picked up at the library because I couldn't find anything I liked (very picky). And I never read Westerns.

It's alright, though.

Utah Blaine, by That Frenchman.

I just read Desperation by Stephen King and I can't say I liked it although his writing style is good and I decided to finish the book I would still not give it even 3 stars. He did however use a young boy and his faith in God throughout the book and that carried on showing the boy's relationship with God and prayer in a very interesting way.

I just started reading "Common Mystic Prayer," by Gabriel Diefenbach, O.F.M. Cap.
