This has just been a wonderful read. Roy Schoeman ( an Orthodox Jew convert to Catholicism ) has a masterful writing skill that is, first and foremost, informative while being as entertaining as anything written on such a historical, biblical topic. A Jewish perspective of Christ, Catholicism and God's great plan from the very beginning of "time" to this very day, from God's point of view.

Highly recommend !

I believe it was on Ave Maria Radio where I heard an interview with him. Very interesting, and time well-spent. Pretty sure I recall him saying that becoming Catholic was the most Jewish thing a Jew could do.

yes MSL, one and the same. The book is rewardingly Judaeo-Christian in scope and historicity that explains a good deal of our Catholic beginnings pre Christ and the interplay of Jewish tradition and our own.

It's been a great read. :cloud9:

When I was a protestant, I hung on Dr. Zola Levitt's every word - he was so good at pointing out the Jewish roots of the (evangelical) Christian faith. He passed away right about the time I converted to Catholicism, so that has been a double void in my spiritual education. I'm glad to know there is a highly-recommended Messianic Jewish/Catholic source. Thank you, both! :salut:
