Bone-chilling suspense based on scripture and the private revelations of the saints.

Eighteen months ago, the Earth survived a comet strike. Famine, economic depression, and soaring crime rates rode in on its tail. While the government scrambles for solutions, Gina Applegate vlogs about college life and current events. God doesn't figure large in her life. Nonetheless, Gina thinks she's a pretty good person until a mystical event called The Warning gives her a glimpse of hell, shaking her fragile faith. As the world slips deeper into darkness, the gulf between the godly and the godless widens, leaving no middle ground. Gina must choose a side.

It's on my book buying list! It's almost my birthday, and one of my children always gives me an Amazon gift card. :D

Thank you, Dorothy! If something looks different when you go to the link it's because I'm planning on changing the title and cover. Maybe.

Oh, and Happy Birthday a little early. :)

Comet Dust (formerly called Days of Darkness) has a new cover.

Just a reminder, the novel is fiction. Poetic liberties were taken with some of the material. It shouldn't be taken as an accurate guideline to future events.

Even though I wrote it to mainly to entertain people, I hope it raises the question: If the prophecies unfold today, will I be ready?

I just took it out of KDP Select, which means I can now offer it on channels outside of Amazon.

If you would like to download a FREE copy, I created a 100% off coupon at Smashwords. top 5

I was going to download the free copy but after reading the reviews on Amazon I've decided I'm just going to buy it. It's the least I can do to support your work.

Having an interest in astronomy, particularly in the solar system, I'd be interested in the mechanics of how a comet could generate sufficient dust to disrupt civilization. A "hard" comet or an asteroid, yes. But, given it was sufficiently large, destroying most life on earth would be more likely.

I'll have to check it out.

You might be interested in Googling "Impact Winter". Here's the basics:

https://www.britannica.com/topic/Earth-impact-hazard

In addition to causing tremendous immediate devastation and ensuing earthquakes, firestorms, and giant sea waves (tsunamis), collisions of such magnitude are believed to be capable of perturbing Earth’s environment globally by throwing large quantities of fine debris high into the atmosphere. The consequences would include a decrease in the amount of sunlight reaching the surface and a prolonged depression of surface temperatures—a so-called impact winter—leading to loss of photosynthesizing plant life and worldwide starvation and disease.

However, despite the title of the book, the story doesn't focus on the comet or the science behind it. If you decide to read it, you'll see what I mean. :)
