I've followed T. Marshall's blog for quite some time.
Never bought any of his non-fiction books.... but saw that he recently (last year) released a work of fiction (historical fantasy) titled "Sword and Serpent".
I went on amazon to look more closely at it to see that it has over 268 reviews and the average, so far, is 5 stars. Which is pretty cool to see.
I'm an amazon junkie, I just like looking at review aggregates, reading reviews, comparing book reviews. It's like NFL stats for me.

Seeing this book have close to 300 reviews and carrying a 5 star rating is pretty intense. I know a few blogger/scholars who don't have nearly that many reviews.

I started reading that book and it's very easy to read and enjoyable. I like his prose so far.

Anyone else read it yet?

I found it enjoyable. He solicited reviews pretty hard.
