Have any of you read any star wars books that you can recommend? I have been a bit
skeptical about them, but by a coincidence I came over one called "darth plagueis" and it
was actually really good. So, are there any other good ones out there?

If you like pictures, try DK's Star Wars: The Complete Visual Dictionary.

Check web sites: www.dk.com and www.starwars.com

With the exception of the ones by Timothy Zahn, they are a mixed bag, a few good, some decent, most mediocre or worse.

He is a very nice gentleman. i first met him around 1990, and maybe 6-7 times since. Last time in Atlanta/DragonCon last Sep. A fair number of books signed. The only way to go.
