I agree but I read most of his stuff to support him because he has taken so much heat for his stance on homosexual unions. It really angered me when DC comics kicked him off Adventures of Superman because of this. Which is why I've pretty much stopped reading DC.

I've read "Seventh Son" and what surprised me is that it was like anti-christian: Alvin doesn't like religion, "The Good Ones" prefer witchcraft/magic, reverend is actually led by evil force and so on.

I know Card is Mormon but sure those things are not what they believe.

Did I miss something or does it make sense later in the series?

Mormons believe that all other so-called Christians are apostates.
