Post subject:  Question over a particular Study Bible

Hello everyone! This is my very first post, my very first topic!

I volunteer at my parish's religious bookstore. A couple asked me to get them a nice Study Bible. They want it by the end of the week, so I was in a hurry when I ordered it. It came in the mail yesterday, and I noticed a review on the back cover from a Jesuit out of Berkely! RED FLAG RED FLAG! I read some reviews on line that make me wonder if this Study Bible is orthodox and in-line with the Magisterium.

What is your opinion of "The Catholic Study Bible" second edition New American Bible Revised Edition published by Oxford University Press?

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I feel like I have a great responsibility to bring the parishioners of my parish faithful books and not fluffy liberal nonsense.

Is that the one by Dave Armstong? If's excellent....if not....I can't recommend it

I have the New Catholic Answer Bible (NAB-RE) by Fireside Catholic Publishing. I love it! It has one-page apologetics interspersed throughout the scriptures, the leather cover is butter soft and flexible, and as an added bonus, there is an embossed rosary on the back. Very well done!
