I plan to read a book with a vampire in it. This is unheard of.

A contemporary PI, ex-police, working with a police detective, becomes involved with a 450 year old vampire and writer of historical romances.

Vampire is named Henry Fitzroy.

I can't resist.

Yes. And some late/earlier stuff.

I swore off some years ago.

Horny Hank the Eighth (with a bar sinister).

Fitzroy is part of the saga of Hank, which is a subject that has long interested me. Hence I couldn't resist. As to the story ...meh.

Sounded like an interesting idea, though.

Wasn't.

Are you into vampire movies GKC? I'm not ordinarily, but I thought the Swedish film, 'Let the Right One in,' was very good. It kind of puts a different spin on the vampire story, and the girl actress in it is excellent.

No, vampires just don't it for me.
