Hello everyone! Just found this board and it looks quite nifty. I'm not a catholic but I am interested in catholic doctrine etc.

I'm 25/F from New York. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Howdy and Hello. Gotta say your thread title has got me singing. My two year old son watches "The Donut Man" on Saturday mornings on EWTN and they have a song called Hiya...
"Hiya, Hiya, Lift Jesus Hiya. Lowa, Lowa, stomp satan lowa!"

Now that's gonna be stuck in my head alllllll day. Glad to have you anyway!

:) Dana

Hi, JP!

Where are you in New York? I'm in the Bronx. Hubby works in Manhattan (I used to before I became a mommy...).

He commutes every day to his job. There's no work up here for what he does (assistant to the traders - Wall St). It's 220 miles round trip each day.

Sorry for the thread hijack.

yikes... hope he's got a vehicle that gets good gas mileage... if not, at today's (and tomorrow's) prices, that's "drive" ya to the poor house...unless of course he uses some kind of rail system
