I just want to thank our host Steve Ray and Siggy and everyone responsible for the care and feeding of this extraordinary board.

It's a bright testimony to the Faith and a safe harbor for searching souls.

We're all glad to be here.

Just like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, and i ask for you'r support in helping me understand the Catholic Faith... I have always had a great love for our lord, i guess i was born with this love, and i strive for understanding i guess its a hunger which has been with me for 35yrs now and gets stronger every year..
I was brought up a Anglican, however i didn't attend church every Sunday (slap on the wrist) but when i did attend and receiving communion, deep down i always new for myself that christ was present, and didn't take communion just for the rememberance of Christ that the Anglican church teaches, this is one of the reasons why i started questioning and turning away from the Anglican Church, may be it was the catholic anscestory in me...
any way i'll stop ranting!!

God Bless
Rich

The personal feeling is they don't treat communion with the respect and adoration christ deserves...

i understand rich... no offense taken... my comment was about the lack of reverence to the Holy Eucharist in my church...which is Catholic..and is a sad commentary indeed... my apologies if i came across any other way

Welcome, Richard. I think you'll enjoy this board. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is guiding you to learn more about the Real Presence during this year of the Eucharist. There's some good discussion about it going on now. Glad you're here!
