How strong is my faith? I feel strong about Our Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.
I am a Catholic who is reconnecting with God, age 15-17 I completed holy communion, and confirmation yet, age 18 I turned my back against God, started to not believe, argued, and cursed at him, (asked my co-worker if a center candle smelt like the Holy Spirit) Sienor year of high school I wrote a 6-8 paragraph essay on how God was not real.(Where was my faith) Can I restore my faith, may I make it greater than it once was? Now 19 I have stopped smoking weed, drinking, and taking drugs. I read the bible everyday and i am trying to be better man for God. I want to get my girl friend baptized, and I do need confession for it has been 4 years since my last confession. I have also cheated on my girlfriend 3 times. I have only been reading the bible for 11 days. Sober from drugs 2 weeks and 4 days from alcohol. I am seeking advice, knowledge, and forgiveness from God hoping he will save my girlfriend and I.

God bless you for reading

I pray to God to keep our will power strong from false conveniences

First of all, welcome to the DCF Forum! :D

It certainly sounds like the Holy Spirit is leading you, and you can receive much wisdom here.

In "Catholicism 101" you can ask questions about the faith.

A Blessed Easter season to you!

:wave Hi, xShawn! Welcome to the board.

It does indeed sound like the Holy Spirit is calling you back to the Church. Congratulations on the sobriety that you have begun from drugs and alcohol. I pray that you will continue to seek God and make a good examination of conscience and go to confession as you have recognized that you need to do. Continue to read the Bible, but don't neglect to talk to Jesus. Spend some time as often as you can in front of the Blessed Sacrament, just being in the presence of Jesus there. As Dorothy B. said above, ask any questions you may have about the faith in the Catholicism 101 forum.
