Hey Folks, I’m a middle aged practicing Catholic who happened upon this forum. I have participated in other Catholic forums – yet, unfortunately some have closed or became less moderated. I prefer a well-managed board that is orientated toward Catholic discussions. I tend to read many encyclicals "translated to English" :) and also, I have a great interest in Catholic Scripture exegesis and Liturgical discussions.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi, Michael!

If you're interested in deep discussion on Catholic theology, check out The Lyceum. We're blessed with very well-versed regulars to that forum, both ordained and lay (some of whom aren't even Catholic), and the topics often go very deep. You'll find as much discussion and debate there as you'd like to digest.

When you need to come up for air, we have lighter fare in other threads, particularly in The Pub. Sometimes, we get downright silly, but that's ok. If taking a lighthearted approach was good enough for St. Lawrence during his martyrdom, who am I to argue?

Whatever your flavor, jump on in...the Tiber is fine! :fyi:
