Yes. It's been years since I have used mine, though. Been meaning to test it.

Have you ever used an indoor grill?

Yes. My kids took a pottery class when I was homeschooling them. Of course, I joined in.

Have you ever planned an elaborate solution to a problem, only to discover that the real solution was incredibly simple?

Yes, in a geometry exam four years ago.
I had to prove that the smallest side was half the longest side in a triangle whose angles were 30,60,90 degrees. I solved it by constructing a line segment joining the hypotenuse to the opposite vertex such that the right angle is divided in the ratio 1:2. The original triangle would thus be divided into an isosceles triangle and an equilateral triangle.

Have you ever seen a movie and felt that the movie was better than the book on which it was based?

Question already asked on the previous page. :fyi: But for the record, none that I can think of.

Slightly different question: Have you ever read the novelization of a movie, before seeing the movie? I have. (By this I mean, a novel that is based on a movie which was made from an original script)

Time to pick this up again

No, you have to be away from everything for it to be really seen. But I have eaten one.

Have you ever cooked an egg or other food on a sidewalk on a very hot day to show how hot it was?

Well, I have crossed the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit into Windsor, Ontario, over the Detroit River, in winter. Don't recall whether the river was frozen. So that's a maybe.

Have you ever attended a sporting event outside your home country?

Yes but not the whole thing, it was more than 24 hours this year I think?

Have you ever bought a complete old series from TV on DVD or (gasp VHS) and watched the whole series again? Or for the first time?

Not quite.
A little over a year ago, I bought the complete series of the original Star Trek on Blu-Ray. By that time, I was already well into watching the series on Netflix, but decided I wanted to have my own physical copy. I am still working on season 3 ...

Have you ever blind-bought any movie or TV series (that is, bought it without having seen it previously)?
