My fiance has suffered from depression off and on since he was a teenager. He's done counseling meds, etc and goes through periods where he has done well. My fiance's brother is getting married soon and he wasn't asked to be in the wedding at all. My fiance was very hurt as he looks up to his brother. He has been sliding back into depression and he has said that since he has never been in any wedding party that he feels something is wrong with him and he's never good enough to be a part of someone's big day.

As I said, he's hurt with his brother and feels that he's not good enough for his brother or anyone else in the family.

Father / God we ask you to create a way where there seems to be no way.

Pour your peace that passes understanding into all the family.
You are a clear and present help in time of need.

Prayers.

The best advice is for your fiancee to get the best mental health counseling and to perhaps seek some counsel from his priest. Encourage him to stick with his medication and counseling.

That is the best advice you can get from internet strangers.

Except to maybe read this book:

You can't fix him; all you can do is to encourage him to get the help he needs.

Meaning he wasn't invited ... or that he was invited, but had no role in the ceremony except as an audience member?

But, as above, only he can help himself.
