Vikings all the way. But Japan will also do. Even though neither will win.

I've attended a Mexico match. I hate Mexico ... due to its fans. Which are the worst I've ever experienced.

It is a lot like baseball ... in that you need to be familiar with what is going on to see the nuances in the game. Baseball is often seen as lots of boredom with bits of action. Football is continuous action building up to significant action.

If that should happen, watching, in Spanish, a slogging three hour match between two teams he has never heard of -- with 60-70 penalties resulting in a 0-0 tie -- should fix him right up.

This is turning into a very interesting World Cup. Will be watching as much as I can.

Sorry, though about the Vikings' loss. But I like Nigeria as well.
