Thank ya, thank ya very much.

I've been watching the NFL since I was in diapers. I'll never forget when my dad would bring the small tv from downstairs and hook it up next to the big tv so we could watch two games. :).

The Iggles are 5 to 6.5 point underdogs.

The line appears reasonable.

The strength of the Eagles is the defense - one that allowed just 12.4 pts at home yet 23.5 pts on the road.
team rankings

One of my hobbies is handicapping NFL games and playing a few bucks on a couple of Draftkings lineups (it's legal here , yay).

Need to crunch some numbers on this Superbowl.

Uh huh........and look at what the underdogs did to the favorites.

I would bet that there is a world of hurt going on in Las Vegas this morning.

Vegas doesn't always lose when the underdogs win. It depends on if they got more or less equal amounts wagered on either side, which is what the spread is supposed to accomplish. If they get that right, they win either way.

I wouldn't be too concerned with most Vegas sportsbooks. They have proven methods to make money, attract gamblers. Heh The betting public tends towards favorites and this playoff totals (over/unders) have been a bit unpredictable. Books made plenty of money from those confidently laying the lumber with the Steelers, Rams and Chiefs.

WC ROUND FAVS 1-3
KC -8.5
LAR -6.5
JAX -8.5
NOR -6.5

DIV ROUND FAVS 2-2
ATL -2.5
NE -13
PIT -7.5
MIN -4

CONF FINALS FAVS 0-2
NE -8.5
MIN -3

Philly were solid picks in their two playoff games; being a #1 seed and a home dog both games.

Right; sometimes they don't get equal balances. But they have to be off by enough that the vig doesn't cover the difference.

If I was a pro and was invited to the Pro Bowl, I would say "Thanks, but no thanks. Taking care of my body is for the next season is more important than a game that is basically a nothing."

And if they didn't like it..............tough tookies.

Many players agree with you.

I saw the 1986 and 1987 Pro Bowls while I was stationed in Hawaii. Sorta disappointed in the quality of play in both games.

Most likely big deal for the players was getting paid for going to Hawaii.
