Can you talk about a task having (or alternatively placing) "high demands on/to/for cut protection". Placing or setting would go with "on" surely, but if it can have "high demands" would it be to or for?

And the same with requirements.

I really need more context to advise you, NB. I don't know what you mean by "cut protection." Can you give me the paragraph into which this sentence would go?

Suitable for tasks with high demands/requirements to (whatever!) cut protection, abrasion resistance and extremely high requirements (insert your favourite preposition here) scary-clown protection, pink-elephant repellancy. and so on.

Now that's just cutting to the quick, NB. You sure you want to do that while you need a favor?

But because I love ya -

Suitable for tasks with high demands for cut protection, abrasion resistance, and extremely high requirements for zombie apocalypse protection, etc. (I hate what Stephen King did to the once-innocent and noble profession of clowning).

Thank you. Does "for" imply that the cut protection needs to be good though. I mean, that it requires a high level of cut protection.

I agree with Mrs. T., except about the clown thing, but we've argued about that before and don't need to do it again.

So both "demands" and "requirements" work, but both require "for"?

Yes - at least, in the context provided.
