On Relevant Radio (Catholic radio station) alittle while back someone read a story about how stress (I think the analogy used was 'hot water') effects some people. It mentioned how some people fall into categories of pasta, eggs, or coffee.

Pasta: People who become weak, defeated, and essentially give up.

Egg: People who become hard and tough from the ordeal.

Coffee: People who use it as an opportunity to grow and to flavor the situation - turning it into something better.

Does anyone know this modern little fable? I've been looking around for it with no luck.
