I am now hoping for a Joshua-Hollie finale. I don't know what I am predicting. I guess I'll still go with Phillip.....and Joshua. I don't know if that would be better than Joshua and Jessica. It would definitely be better than Phillip and Jessica. But still, I'm pulling for Joshua and Hollie.

I thought for sure it was going to be Hollie going home. I'm glad she's still there, but I'd be glad that Skylar was still there. I really wanted it to be Skylar and Hollie at the end. Since that isn't possible anymore, I want it to be Phillip and Hollie with Hollie as the winner.

Philip has grown on me and I've always liked Hollie's voice more than the others. Even when she didn't hit the notes perfectly or was pitchy, I've always liked her voice best. The scratchiness of Joshua just always reminds me of Al Green. Was never a fan of Al Green. Jessica... well, she can hit the notes but she's boring. Her voice is just... vanilla. No, ice milk. It's not even ice cream.

I probably won't watch the performances anymore... just the results. Maybe I'll watch Hollie's and then fast forward.

i enjoyed phillip's quirkiness until he actually tried to sing the melody and hold a tune on "time of the season"... to not end up in the bottom as a result of that performance alone was a travesty of epic proportions

Oddly enough, I actually liked Philip's "time of the season." I liked that he had to stretch it to hit that note. I didn't think it sounded all that bad. I still enjoyed his performance and kept my attention. Joshua and Jessica on the other hand... I'm daydreaming. I'm thinking about a hundred different things while I'm watching them. There was a frog outside my window as I watched and I paid more attention to the frog than I did Jessica and Joshua. :)

I liked what Philip was trying to do, but I don't think he pulled it off very well. I don't think the note was right, but my general impression of the song was positive, because I liked seeing a different side of him. I do think he might need more help than the others in terms of holding down the tune, but I also think with a little vocal coaching, he'd be fine. He, more than anyone else, needs some vocal coaching - maybe the reason he has been so resistant to changing things up is that he is not confident that he can pull off a style other than the usual.

He didn't miss just one note. The whole chorus was an awful mess. I could have sung it just as well.

Yes. He hit a lot of notes, but not necessarily the one he was aiming for.
