Out of the eight live shows so far, Elise has been in the bottom 3 six times (and in the top 13, she may have actually been the lowest vote getter, even though Jeremy went home instead). I wonder, has anyone ever spent THAT long in the bottom 3, before actually going home? Ya gotta give her credit for that.

I think people were just simply unsure about her. I felt that way in the beginning but then I quickly liked her... especially when I dislike Joshua and Jessica so much.

I totally do not see what everyone else sees in Joshua. I just don't get it.

My hope is that it will be Skylar and Hollie in the end. It will probably be Jessica and Joshua.... and then of course, I tune out because I won't be able to listen to either/both of them sing so why bother turning it on. Ugh!

Nikki McKibbin... was in the bottom every week but top 8...she finished 3rd ... that was back in the days when they eliminated down to the top 10 before single eliminations started

Ha, I just watched that. She isn't shy is she? I liked the fact that she picked on R.Yo's "YoYoYo" necklace.

Just watched all of the other curtain call interviews. DeAndre impressed me the least. He came off as a conceited boy who maybe was humbled just a little bit.

just "heard" colton and elise sing together on leno... actually, you could only hear elise...she completely overshadowed/overpowered colton's voice on "come together "

one more 8-)

Quote:
As for one controversial critique Elise received this week--about her Jimi Hendrix song choice, "Bold As Love," supposedly being too obscure--Elise said in her characteristically blunt manner, "I thought that was crazy...it's, like, a really epic song, and John Mayer re-released it, so I don't think it's not popular. And then Josh [Ledet] sang the India.Arie song [this week], which is less popular, so...yeah, that was kind of weird."

Does anyone still expect rationality from the judges?

Perhaps when they are reading their cards (J Lo), but sometimes the pictures are covered.

TV Line finally got around to doing Colton's interview. Slezak seemed a little uncomfortable with the "christian artist" talk. Also, Colton was refreshingly honest.

we can always keep praying for him... it has been pretty obvious from some of the things he has said he is not comfortable with Christianity...must be his conscience working on him :?
