I am not sure where to post this. Someone will move it if needed. I just wanted to ask for strong prayers. This mother needs them.

This is all happening right across the street from me. In a very nice subdivision. The man in the story was a friend of my husband's. Since Hub has been working out of town this guy has been watching over us and if needed doing the guy things. I have paid him for cutting grass and stuff but he took care of other stuff too.

As I am typing from my living room I can see the police tape around the house. I had to get my kids oout of the house for overnight to my parents'. My husband is coming home this afternoon from being away a week. To say he's a mess over this is mild.

My 16 year old daughter and I watched the whole thing unfold from when the deputies got there. I called the sheriff yesterday and the deputies are having the worst time with it. The one who was overcome with smoke was trying to kill himself to get to the baby. He is having the what if's. Our sheriff is a huge child advocate and keeps consoling this young man.

I know now I am rambling but we all liked this guy. The sheriff attends church with me and see what he says about this man. That's how hard this all is. I have said so many prayers for Joe and everyone else, but only on here will I admit that I have prayed for him. There is a lynchmob mentality in our community right now. Not to mention the traffic to look at the crime scene.

Going to work now. I need to keep us away from here.

May the Lord have mercy on Joe, and be with his wife during this time. Are there any other children?

Nicole is the mom. I am not sure if they ever married. There is Lacey, she is the same age as my daughter16. And Noah is the same age as my Hunter,12.

This baby came to play over here a few times and everything. Beautiful child.

That is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry that it hit so close to home for you... I will keep everyone affected in my prayers.
